Two Pitch is a Go!!

Posted Fri Jun 18, 2021 - 10:16 PM

To everyone who signed up for two-pitch in early April, we have some good news: Two Pitch is happening this summer! We are able to run a season starting July 13th and going through to August 31st. The league will continue to have 8 teams and games will be held at the Camlachie diamonds as planned. Details are still being worked out as to what the reduced registration fee will be, so stay tuned for those details.

If anyone who signed up for two pitch is now unable to play for any reason, please let Ty Steckley (j.c.warrior@hotmail.com) or Tim Kary know as soon as possible, as it will affect the setting up of teams.

Due to operating a baseball season during COVID-19, we will also be looking for volunteers (can be players or spectators) who would be willing to help the two-pitch committee carry out the COVID Protocols requested by Camlachie Diamonds. There would be two volunteer positions:

Screeners: Individuals who would ask players and spectators as they arrive at the diamond if they have symptoms, etc. and keep a list of attendees for contact tracing.

Sanitization: Individuals who would help with the sanitization of equipment and dugouts.

Again, please let Ty Steckley or Tim Kary know as soon as possible if you would be willing to volunteer.

Let's play ball!
